AWARE emerged in response to the call to action from People of Color that white people take responsibility to educate themselves on race and racism. We do this work in white affinity groups to reveal the often unseen or overlooked systems of racial oppression and provide the support and tools to take action toward justice.
AWARE is not about blame or guilt; it is about awareness and action toward a more just society.
